Stage four: Maturity. In this stage, sales begin to decrease slowly, and profit margins get thinner. They work to reposition themselves to refresh their growth. 

Stage five: Decline. In this stage, sales, cash flow, and profit all decline. During this stage, companies may accept their failure to extend their lifecycle. They can lose their competitive advantage and finally exit the market.
